Celebrate the games in style with an exciting program of special events for all registered participants.
Join us for the multifaith service at the iconic Frauenkirche.
The Church is centrally located in Dresden and only a short walk from the Games Hub.
The 5k Fun Run will be held a day before the official World Transplant Games 5k Road Race.
Please note:
Watch the Parade of Nations and the Opening Ceremony in Dresden.
Friends and family who are not registered for the Games are welcome to watch the Parade and Opening Ceremony. There is no cost to attend the ceremony, but advance booking is required.
Please note:
Join donor families and living donors for a gentle walk along the Elbe. Learn about the inspirational Life Project celebrating organ and tissue donation. Donor families and living donors will receive first priority.
Come along to enjoy the community and warm hospitality with games registrants. You are very welcome to wear your country’s cultural dress.
Please note:
The finals of the darts tournament will be held in the evening in a beautiful bar location. Watch the finals and enjoy a little darts party afterwards with a drink, some snacks and the community.
