Smoking:

The WTGF promotes a smoke free culture at all World Transplant Games sporting and cultural events. The use of tobacco products including cigarettes, “spit tobacco” and e-cigarettes / vapes is prohibited within the facilities of all events, whether indoors or outdoors.

Alcohol:

Alcohol is able to be consumed in moderation at special events,  dinners and non-competition times during the World Transplant Games. Alcohol may not be consumed by competitors during competitions. The WTGF supports the responsible consumption of alcohol and takes seriously any inappropriate behaviour that results from excessive drinking.  Alcohol may not be consumed by any underage attendees at the games and local age restrictions apply.

Sun Safety

Appropriate use of sunscreen is an essential component of sun safety. Sunscreen should have a sun protection factor (SPF) of 30 or higher, be broad-spectrum and water resistant. The WTGF encourages all participants, supporters and officials at the World Transplant Games to wear sun-protective clothing including broad-rimmed hats and long sleeve shirts.

Environment:

The World Transplant Games tries to reduce wastage at all events including the use of plastic. Recycling bins will be available at all venues. Plastic water bottles are discouraged. Each participant will be given a refillable steel water bottle.

Anti-Harassment:

The WTGF is dedicated to providing a positive, harassment-free event experience for all participants and staff, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, age or religion. The WTGF does not tolerate harassment of event participants, volunteers or staff in any form. The use of rude or harassing language and imagery is not appropriate at any WTGF event. Any event participant, including staff, volunteers, sponsors and exhibitor staff, found to be violating this policy may be expelled without a refund, at the WTGF’s sole discretion. Please also see Games Code of Conduct.

Dress Code at the World Transplant Games:

All World Transplant Games registrants, supporters, volunteers and staff are to be dressed in an appropriate manner. In recognition of the many cultures and nationalities present at the Event, attire of an overly revealing or suggestive nature is strictly prohibited.
