Our dedicated ambassadors include:
- Tisa Perra (Canada)
- Lynne Holt (Great Britain)
- Kim Dawson and her 8-year-old daughter Emily Dawson-Keßler (Australia)
- Tamaryn Stevens (Australia)
- Anja Schlagel (USA)
- Heilie Uys (South Africa)
Each of them has played a vital role in promoting the WTG2025 through presentations, sharing flyers, and speaking about Dresden and its vibrant region. Whether at the Canadian Transplant Games, British Transplant Games, Australian Transplant Games, South African Transplant Games, or American Transplant Games, they have made it their mission to inspire fellow athletes and spread the excitement for the Games in Dresden.
Some stories stand out. For example, Kim Dawson and her daughter Emily have a unique connection to Dresden. Although Emily, a transplant recipient, participated in the Australian Transplant Games in Canberra, their family currently lives in Dresden. Emily’s mother, Kim, is originally from Australia, but Dresden has become their home, making their role as ambassadors even more special.
Similarly, Anja Schlagel, a kidney transplant recipient, has a heartwarming connection to Dresden. Anja, who now lives in the USA, is originally from Germany, while her sister Karen, who is also a kidney transplant recipient, lives in Germany. The WTG2025 in Dresden will be a reunion for both sisters as they participate in the Games together.
We are also proud to introduce Tisa Perra, the Provincial Director of Alberta for the Canadian Transplant Association, who speaks German and has already had the pleasure of visiting Dresden.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all our ambassadors for their incredible efforts in promoting the WTG2025 and fostering a global community of transplant athletes. We can’t wait to welcome them in person to Dresden in August 2025.

Stay tuned for more updates as we continue our journey toward the WTG2025!
