Who are you, and what is your transplant story?
I first looked after heart transplant patients as Head Nurse in ICU in 1979 at Papworth Hospital. Since then I have been passionate about promoting organ donation, transplantation and the benefits of sport and exercise. I took the first heart transplant team to the British Games in 1982, and now manage Team GB.
What are you most excited about for the WTG2025 in Dresden?
I believe that Dresden will host the largest and most accessible Games, and be expertly managed.
What does it mean to you to be one of our international ambassadors?
It is an honour and a privilege to be part of the team and to promote this event widely.
